Marking errors were found in tomato seeds
In the latest test of the Supermenta program, Nébih inspected 25 sachets of cherries and cherry tomatoes, including varieties that yielded yellow, orange, brown and black in addition to classic red.
In the agency’s laboratories, experts examined the possible presence of GMOs and the ToBRFV virus, which damages tomatoes, and whether there is any foreign matter next to the seeds. Quality indicators, such as the germination and purity of the seeds, were also checked. (MTI)
