Nébih: pitas are strictly controlled at restaurants
Zsigó Robert Piták Minister of State responsible for the food chain surveillance ordered the strict control of pitas in restaurants – the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) informed MTI on Thursday.
The Minister of State ordered the food chain security professionals to increasingly investigate the origin and the traceability of the used pitas. The tightening of the tests is due to the fact that a bakery had to be closed in mid-January in Budapest because of serious hygiene problems. (MTI)
