NÉBIH: 12 million investigations within five years
Since its inception, the National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH) initiated more than 12 million investigations and restrained approximately 10 billion HUF VAT and other tax avoidances in the past five years – the agency told MTI on Monday.
The NÉBIH in its communication on the occasion of the 15 March anniversary issued a warning that after drug distribution, food adulteration is the second largest illegal activity in the world, the agency therefore is taking actions by all means against the gray and black economies. (MTI)
