This light yellow wine is characterised by elegant citrus and green apple notes. Cepa Divisa Rosé D.O.Ca. Rioja (2022) is the rosé wine in the selection. It is also made from tempranillo grapes, and it offers a complex and playful taste experience, with notes of raspberry and spices.
Garamvári Vineyards: Kikötő – the flavours of sailing life on Lake Balaton
This year the wines of Garamvári Vineyards were named METRO Hungarian Wines of the Year. The winery was established by Vencel Garamvári more than 30 years ago, and it is situated in the South Balaton Wine Region.
Kikötő wines translate summer and the freedom of water sports into flavours, by combining the best grape varieties of the South Balaton region. Kikötő Red cuvée (2021) is the flagship of the selection, made from merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and kadarka grapes. Kikötő White cuvée (2022) brings out the best in chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, cserszegi fűszeres and Irsai Olivér grapes. Kikötő Rosé cuvée (2022) combines what syrah, pinot noir and merlot grapes can offer.
