Nomad Foods to install solar panels at Italian production plant
Frozen food company Nomad Foods plans to install photovoltaic panels at its Cisterna di Latina factory in Italy. This step will help the company to reduce CO2 emissions by 1,180 tonnes annually. Nomad Foods has entered into a new electricity purchase agreement with Grastim JV, which will provide 2.4MW of solar energy a year to the factory.
