Solar panel investment at Zalaco Sütőipari Zrt
Zalaco Sütőipari Zrt., a leading food company of the Transdanubian region, has realised a new, innovative investment in the field of climate protection and energy efficiency.
The 73-year-old company has set up a 1,780-panel solar park with a total capacity of 750 kWp at its industrial site in Zalaegerszeg. In addition to this, Zalaco Sütőipari Zrt. installed 150 kWp solar panels on the roof of the company’s central factory in Zalaegerszeg, and invested in a 75 kWp solar panel system at its artisan production plant in Zalaszentgrót.

László Berta, CEO and owner of Zalaco Sütőipari Zrt. told: the use of stable, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective energy represents a very important and realistic alternative for the company. Zalaco Sütőipari Zrt. has also made washable canvas bags, bread bags, reusable napkins, plus compostable bags and reusable cups available to the 50,000 customers they serve in their nearly 60 shops every day.
