Sentix’s eurozone investor sentiment index fell sharply in April
The euro area investor sentiment index for the April eurozone, the German firm of economic research and investment adviser Sentix, plunged into a recession, according to a statement released on Monday.
The euro area investor sentiment index fell to minus 18.0 points in April from minus 7.0 points in the previous month. Analysts expected minus 9.2 points for April. The actual April value is the worst since July 2020, when the first wave of coronavirus dampened sentiment. (MTI)
