Márton Nagy: there are many opportunities for the food industry in Hungarian-Uzbek relations
Economic Development Minister Márton Nagy emphasized the significant strengthening of Hungarian-Uzbek economic relations at the business forum held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan – the Ministry of Economic Development (GFM) informed MTI in a statement on Thursday.

The event was attended by – among others – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Muhammed Salaiman Al Jasser, President of the Islamic Development Bank, Olga Algayerova, Secretary General of the UN Economic Commission for Europe, and Suhail Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates, Akylbek Japarov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In his speech, Márton Nagy emphasized that the economic relations between Hungary and Uzbekistan are constantly strengthening, the trade volume between the two countries has increased despite the global slowdown, while excellent cooperation can be observed in the pharmaceutical industry, info-communications, agriculture, food industry, machine manufacturing and chemical industry. .
