Nagy István: 7.46 billion for school milk, school fruit and school vegetables program this school year
The government will spend a total of 7.46 billion HUF on the school milk, school fruit and school vegetable program in the 2021-2022 school year, the Minister of Agriculture said at a press conference in Vác on Tuesday. Nagy István said that most of the money, 6.7 billion HUF, comes from national sources and 1.76 billion HUF from EU sources.
He indicated that in the 2021-2022 school year, more than 535,000 students in approximately 2,300 elementary schools and grammar schools with elementary school programs will participate in the School Fruit Program, and more than 446,000 students in nearly 2,700 educational institutions will participate in the school milk program.
