The great sausage tour in Gyula
On 9 January Gyulahús Kft. and Hungarian Product Nonprofit Kft. organised a visit for the representatives of the press to the production facilities of Gyulahús Kft., to celebrate 150 years of sausage making – and Trade magazin was also invited.
The town of Gyula owns the company now, which realised more than HUF 6-billion sales last year, from which more than HUF 900 million was export; the biggest export markets were the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic – informed managing director Zsolt Daka.
He added that last year Gyulai Artisan Thin Sausage was rewarded with two gold stars at the test of the prestigious Brussels-based The International Taste & Quality Institute (iTQi). //
