MVH: the versatile use of EU funds for rural development
Local governments, nonprofit organizations and even churches are eligible to apply for EU rural development funds in a wide variety of sectors such as the food industry, irrigation development and horticulture – Gyuricza Csaba, chairman of the Agricultural and Rural Development Agency (MVH), university teacher told M1 news channel on Monday.
He added that the use of the supports is a complex, but it is an agrarian countryside development program basically. The chairman recalled that in the 2014-2020 EU cycle 12 billion HUF sources will come to Hungary from the EU, of which 3,700 billion HUF is aimed at agriculture and 1700 billion HUF will go on rural development, however, this amount with the economic development operational programs can be even more.
