Americans like to have their lunch in parks and on the street. Consequently, they often buy their lunch from vans or containers. In big cities there are several enterprises that run one or more vans, selling ethnic or vegetarian food. At the end of last year, Daniel Boulud entered this business and this year Alain Ducasse also gives it a try. These typically 21st-century forms of feeding people are experts of using 21st-century forms of communication: they are present on Twitter, Facebook and other similar websites. Now a special website www.roaminghunger.com not only lists the moving vendors of big cities, but also indicates where they are located at the moment.
