Now, it is certain: China is the world's largest exporter
Due to the 18.4 percent decline in exports of last year, Germany has lost the world's leading exporter title. Currently China is the world's largest exporter – reported the German Federal Statistics Office in Wiesbaden.
Since 1950, the largest decline in export occured in 2009 in Germany. The import decreased by 65 percent in December, compared to the same period of the previous year. This is the largest decline of the last 60 year.
The data reported confirms, that China is now the world's leading exporter – reports Világgazdaság Online, after AP.
