MNB: household wealth increases continuously
The net savings of households increased by 522 billion HUF in the fourth quarter of 2016, while in the total year by 1574 billion HUF.
In the proportion of the gross domestic product (GDP), the net savings of households increased by 5.4 percent in the fourth quarter of 2016 and by 4.5 percent in 2016 as a whole – the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) announced on Friday, on the basis of the preliminary data of the financial accounts.
