MNB: rising food prices pushed up core inflation in October
With the food price index moving up, the central bank explains that inflation and core inflation rose by 0.1 percentage points in October compared to the previous month.
In October, consumer prices were on average 2.9 percent higher than a year before, with core inflation rising to 4.0 percent, according to a report released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Friday. (MTI)
