MNB: credit dynamics were at the forefront of the EU last year
Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the credit market performed outstandingly last year, and Hungary is at the forefront of the EU in terms of both corporate and retail credit dynamics, an analyst at the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (MNB) said at an online press conference.
Commenting on the central bank’s latest report on lending processes, Dancsik Bálint emphasized that the annual growth of the corporate loan portfolio was 9.4 percent last year, the portfolio expanded by 2.5 percent to 227 billion HUF in the last quarter of 2020. (MTI)
