MLBKT: the Purchasing Manager Index increased in October
The seasonally adjusted October value of the Purchasing Manager Index (PMI) became 57.3, meaning that respondents reported more favorable processes than in the previous month. The October index is higher than the 54.1 points in September and the second highest October value since 1995 – the Hungarian Logistics Purchasing and Inventory Company (MLBKT) told MTI on Monday.
The production volume index has, compared to the value of September and its value above 50.0 points indicates the increase of quantity produced for the 38th month, compared to the previous month. The October is the highest since 1995. (MTI)
