MLBKT: the April Purchasing Manager Index continued to increase but slowed somewhat
The seasonally adjusted value of the Purchasing Manager Index (PMI) in April was 53.3 points, lower than the 57.0 points of March and the seventh highest April value – the Hungarian Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Company (MLBKT) reported on Wednesday.
According to the report, compared with earlier Aprils, this year’s value exceeds the long-term average of April (52.0), but it lags behind the average of the last three years (54.2).
The bulk of the sub-indices examined in the survey increased compared to March, and the rate of change in three cases exceeded 4 percentage points. (MTI)
