MLBKT: Purchasing Manager index increased in October, but shows slight increase
The Seasonally Adjusted Purchasing Manager Index (PMI) for October was 51.9 points, according to respondents reporting better overall performance than last month, the Hungarian Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Company (MLBKT) announced on Monday.
Compared to previous October, this year’s value is also below the long-term average of 52.4 points and 57.2 points over the last three years. Although it is up from 51.7 points in September, only once in the last three years, in July this year, the index was lower, 51.2 points. (MTI)
