– How did Salesrep start and what led to its current scope of activities?

Brúnó Homola, owner and managing director of Salesrep
– Salesrep Kft. has undergone numerous big changes since its foundation in 2009. The most significant change occurred when the former services and wholesale activities were replaced by product distribution.
Since 2016 we have been working on becoming one of Hungary’s most reliable FMCG distributors, with the objective of bringing international standards to the domestic market.
In 2017 a new chapter began in the life of our company, when we became the exclusive distributor for the Paclan and Bee Smart brands of the Polish company Cedo sp. z.o.o. This success was followed by an invitation from the Europe Distribution Group (EDG) to distribute their washing and cleaning products.
– What role do innovations play in Salesrep’s strategy?
– We are constantly adding new innovations to our portfolio. As part of this, we have put Paclan’s new Silver Space range on the market, which reflects the needs of modern households, plus EDG’s JELP baby products, which guarantee premium quality and reliability for the little ones. Our mission is to make the everyday life of our customers more comfortable and efficient with our household and food products.
– What are the top brands you work with and what categories are you focusing on?
– The most important chemical brands are Der Waschkönig C.G. and Glanz Meister. Der Waschkönig C.G.’s products include premium quality detergents in powder, capsule and gel formats. Glanz Meister dishwasher detergents are also very popular, as they offer high quality at an affordable price. In the confectionery category we have high quality, child-friendly products, such as the Paw Patrol sweets.
– How do you see the market situation of imported products in Hungary?
– There is great demand for imported products in both the food and non-food segments, as consumers are increasingly focusing on quality and reliability. Our import products represent exceptional quality, which is suited to the local market needs.
– Who are your main partners and in which direction do you plan to expand your distribution?
– EcoFamily, Azúr, Csoki Max and Zöldker are our main partners. Some of our products have recently turned up on the shelves of Lidl stores, and we have successfully done in-out activities in Rossmann and Penny stores. In addition to the big names, we are also suppliers to a number of smaller retailers, so our portfolio can satisfy a wide range of needs.
– What drives Salesrep on a daily basis and what is your philosophy?
– We monitor trends in the industry and introduce high quality products that are in line with them. Salesrep Kft. is committed to being flexible and adapting to changing market needs, while efficiently serving our existing and prospective partners. By regularly expanding our product selection, we seek to offer innovative solutions that support their business success and contribute to their long-term growth. Our philosophy is to lay the groundwork for sustainable growth through continuous improvement and well-nurtured partnerships. (x)
