Con: the transition is expensive. It’s true, but…
…but since the European Union, including Hungary, has committed to being climate neutral by 2050, green financing is expanding. For the additional investment of around HUF 2000-2500 billion per year needed to achieve the climate targets, the banking sector can provide the funding at preferential rates.
The Planet Budapest 2023 conference – with IFUA Horváth as an organizing partner – will feature major players from the Hungarian banking sector. The Head of the Hungarian National Bank will evaluate the current status of green financing in Hungary.
At the conference, we will take a look at the products and services offered by banks for green financing. Examples of sustainable financing in the agribusiness and food sectors will be presented, and corporate green financing projects will be discussed.
Green finance will be on the agenda on Wednesday 27.09.2023 from 10:00 to 17:30. Venue: Hungexpo Pavilion A, Conference Hall. Click for details! https://www.horvath-partners.com/hu/horvath-akademia/zold-finanszirozas
Fertilizer or mulch?
Do we have to destroy the soil and keep animals under impossible conditions? Would there really not be enough food for the world’s population if we didn’t? Is green agriculture just a fantasy of dreamers? Nice, but unfeasible?
Planet Budapest Nature-based agriculture conference will explore the facts and draw conclusions through analysis. Let the data do the talking. Researchers and experts will discuss the options we have, what we should be doing and what we have to put into practice.
Thursday, 28.09.2023, 10:00 – 17:30, we will explore the topic of Nature-based agriculture. Venue: Pavilion A, Hungexpo, Section Hall.
