Mikulas Herskovic: “We strive for excellence in everything we do”
Mikulas Herskovic, managing director of Lyreco Central Europe talked to our magazine about how Lyreco has become a global leader in workplace solutions.
– Lyreco has a nearly 100-year history. How has the company evolved over the years and what milestones would you highlight from its history?
– Lyreco operates in 40 markets on four continents. Our milestones include expanding into new markets and the launch of the Green Tree label in 2013 and the Sustainable Selection in 2023. At Lyreco we are driven by a passion to genuinely care about our customers. We adapt to change, anticipate trends, develop innovative solutions and tailor our practices to customer needs. We strive for excellence in everything we do.
– What advantages does Lyreco offer to partners in the fields of product offering, cost reduction, and comprehensive workplace solutions?
– We have more than 10,000 items in stock and an even longer list of products available for order. We can serve any workplace with our products, such as offices, warehouses, industrial centres or construction sites, offering everything from office supplies and IT to hospitality, hygiene and PPE solutions.
– How does Lyreco help companies to optimise their procurement processes and reduce costs with its one-stop shop solutions?
– Our one-stop shop solutions are designed to optimise procurement processes for our customers. By purchasing from Lyreco, businesses can benefit from simplifying ordering, reducing administrative burden and improving cost control.
– A commitment to sustainability is a pillar of Lyreco’s operations. What are your leading corporate initiatives in this field and how do they contribute to sustainable development?
– At Lyreco the three main pillars of sustainability are people, the planet and development. We are proud to offer sustainable and recycled office supplies, enabling our customers to make environmentally conscious choices. In 2023 we were awarded the EcoVadis GOLD sustainability award. (x)
