What motivates student workers?
The opportunity to earn money is the most important motivation in the lives of students who take up work, the vast majority of whom have already heard, worked or are currently able to find a job in the labor market in cooperation with school cooperatives. In addition to this, the research conducted by Pannon-Work Zrt. revealed how they feel about the services provided by the school cooperatives, how satisfied they are with the working conditions and salaries.
More than half (52 percent) of the students who participate in full-time training and appear on the labor market get job opportunities with the help of school cooperatives, nearly a quarter (22 percent) come into direct contact with the employer, and every tenth student works as an intern at the given workplace, according to Pannon-Work Zrt. from a non-representative research conducted on a sample of 100 people. Among other things, from the survey we can get an idea of the motivational background of the students who take up the work, and their attitudes towards school cooperatives.
