Rossmann tests artificial intelligence in Germany
As of early November, Microsoft allows German companies to use the artificial intelligence assistant “Microsoft Copilot”. Rossmann is putting it to the test in everyday work.
“Microsoft Copilot” is a comprehensive and new artificial intelligence, or more specifically, an assistant feature for Microsoft 365 applications and services.
“At Rossmann we have always been open to new technologies. So we like to try new things and we always strive to introduce and use the technology that proves to be the most suitable for the task at hand,” Antje König, Managing Director of Dirk Rossmann GmbH said.
The company hopes that the new assistant will significantly support employees in their daily use of Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Outlook and increase the company’s productivity. The drugstore retailer also says the programme has the potential to help offset the shortage of skilled workers.
“We see Microsoft Copilot as a technology solution that can significantly support the daily work of our colleagues and lead to higher productivity. We are monitoring the current test phase and will derive any further steps therefrom,” König concludes.
