French sweet corn may be toxic
Because of the risk of food poisoning sweet corn from France was withdrawn from circulation. The products were shipped to Hungary as well, but is has not been marketed yet – agrarszektor.hu wrote.
The National Food Safety Agency (NÉBIH), was informed via the EU’s Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) that the Suma wholesaler company's own branded products were recalled.
After the notification, the NÉBIH contacted with the recipient of the product in Hungary who gave the information that the items in question have not been marketed yet. (agrarszektor.hu)
