Vegan Food Group acquires Germany’s TofuTown
In its largest acquisition to date, Vegan Food Group has bought German organic meat producer TofuTown, making it a key player in the European plant-based market.

TofuTown, which is Europe’s largest vegan factory producing only natural, organic tofu, plant-based dressings and meat alternatives for German chains such as Aldi, Lidl, DM and Edeka, has a EUR 60m annual sales revenue. According to the company’s CEO, the acquisition will make VFG “a major player in plant-based foods”. //
