The taxed profit of Kometa’99 increased last year
The net sales of the majority-owned Italian Kometa’99 Zrt. last year increased by 21.2 percent to HUF 93.569 billion, and its profit after tax increased by 153 percent to HUF 2.914 billion in one year, the Kaposvár-based meat industry company announced in its annual report on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BÉT).
According to the report, most of the improvement in the net result was explained by the approximately HUF 1.6 billion improvement achieved in the financial result line.
In the examined period, EBITDA increased from HUF 2.929 billion to HUF 3.417 billion. Domestically, the volume of meat sales increased by 1.2 percent compared to 2022, and thanks to the Italian subsidiary, the company achieved a higher growth of 4.3 percent in foreign markets.
