Huggies gets rid of plastic
In the next five years, Huggies’ wet wipes will completely remove environmentally harmful plastics from their packaging – origo wrote after Independent.
The baby and baby care company identifies itself as the leading baby wipes brand and states in its announcement that the change will free up 1,600 tons of plastic waste in the next few years, though only in UK retail. The company also announced that it would redefine its packaging logic and also remove the outer plastic tapes and similar materials from so-called multipacks. (origo)
