FTA negotiations in a dead end street?
Despite the dobts voiced for a few days the Free Trade Agreement (TTIP) discussion have not come to a dead end. The goal remains to make an agreement before the end of US President Barack Obama's mandate – Cecilia Malmström responsible for trade policy in the European Commission said in Brussels on Tuesday.
“I do not agree that the TTIP negotiations would have drowned in failure, of course there are difficult discussions, but we knew this from the beginning as well.” – the EU Commissioner said, after several leading European politicians spoke about a dead end in the negotiations. (Bajnok Artúr,MTI)
