AnugaFoodTec the world's largest food industrial fair opened its gates
Consumers want high quality and safe food products that are produced economically, while resources are used reasonably during production – stated Katharina C. Hamma, director of the Cologne trade fair company on Tuesday's fair opening press conference.
1334 exhibitors from 44 countries aim to satisfy the needs of food producers for low-cost and higher efficiency at the the world's largest food industrial professional fair. Ten percent more companies await the visitors, compared to the last fair, organized three years ago.
A record number of companies will present their technological solutions in connection with food processing, packaging and safety – stressed the director of the fair. – The Anuga FoodTec provides an overview from raw materials to local purchasing impetus, that visitors can get a complete picture of the main trends of development, technologies and processes – Trade Magazin's correspondent Bajai Ernő reports from Cologne.
