Interest- and no-cost credit facility opens up for pig farmers
Due to the drastic increase in feed prices and the difficulties of the pig market, a new element of the package of measures for the pig sector is becoming available. A ministerial decree has already been published. The Ministry of Agriculture provides 100% interest and guarantee premium support for newly borrowed loans under the Agricultural Széchenyi Card Overdraft Facility and the MFB Agricultural Working Capital Loan Scheme 2020 between 1 January 2022 and 30 June 2022, as well as a 100% subsidy for the cost of the predetermined costs related to the conclusion and maintenance of the loans.
