Publicis Groupe’s annual Goodwill message has arrived
The Groupe is bringing its past to life by combining AI and innovation to celebrate its first century and launch the next. From its origins as a small creative workshop in Montmartre in 1926, through international expansion and the adoption of new technologies, to its position as an industry-leading holding company today, Publicis has undergone a significant transformation over the past 100 years.
However, one tradition has not changed: the annual Wishes.
Celebrating the new century in a fitting way, this year’s Wishes video was produced by Publicis Conseil – the agency created by Publicis founder and CEO Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet.
In the film celebrating Publicis’ 100th anniversary, scenes shot with real actors and created using the Groupe’s own platforms and tools, using the latest AI technology, reinforce each other and tell the story of pioneering spirit, endless innovation and relentless a story of perseverance.
These skills have allowed us to survive the hardships of wars, fires, economic storms, technological revolutions, and a pandemic in our first hundred years. And as we enter our next century, we have become industry leaders and innovators. We look forward boldly to the next hundred years, whatever they may bring.
Arthur Sadoun, Chairman and CEO of Publicis Groupe, commented:
“2026 will be a special year for us, as we close our first century. A century in which we have grown from a small workshop in Montmartre to the largest holding company in the industry in the past two years. A century in which the Groupe has risen from the ashes three times – sometimes literally – and reinvented itself several times more. This spirit of resilience has defined us for 100 years, and it is reflected in our Goodwill: a lion never gives up. 2026 will be the year we enter our second century, the beginning of which will undoubtedly be marked by the rise of artificial intelligence. This film invites us on a human, historical and technological journey, where we combined our best creative ideas with our unmatched AI manufacturing capabilities to prove that the future of AI lies in our people.”
