Consumers continue stockpiling cheap products
EY has made an international study with more than 14,000 participants, which reveals that 41 percent of people still don’t like to leave their homes and 45 percent stockpile the most important household items and groceries. The EY Future Consumer Index has also found that 64 percent still only buy the most essential products. Ákos Demeter, a business consulting partner of EY told: COVID-19 is changing consumption habits in the long run. Shopper opinion about private label products keeps getting better. //
