Surveys show that retail sales continue to grow. This is a good thing, but at the same time the trend creates an ever-bigger challenge for all members of the supply chain: growing sales require more workers. It seems that employers haven’t really managed to adapt to the new situation of the workforce shortage yet.
Let’s make it clear that only knowing the real needs of employees can lead to a situation where employers take the right steps to keep existing workers and recruit new ones. What is more, it isn’t all about the salary any more: work conditions, how working time is organised and a good motivation system also matter a lot for workers. In the future competitiveness as an employer will have greater influence on the business performance of companies. //
