Mastercard: Bangkok, London and Paris are the world's most popular destinations
The Thai capital, Bangkok has beaten London to be crowned as the world's most popular travel destination this year, according to an annual ranking by global payments and technology company Mastercard released on Thursday.
Although Budapest has not been included in the Top 10 list it has become the sixth on the list of the most significantly expanding European travel destinations ahead of Bucharest and Sofia – according to MasterCard’s survey sent to MTI on Friday. (MTI)
