Gergely Márkus became the director of Mastercard in Hungary and Slovenia
Mastercard announced that as of today, a new manager, Gergely Márkus, will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Hungarian and Slovenian markets.
“It is a great honor for me to be entrusted with the management of the Hungarian and Slovenian teams in this exciting period. At Mastercard, we continue to work to maintain our market-leading position by helping our Hungarian banking and commercial partners digitize payments with our latest innovations and joint developments. In addition, we want to further strengthen our market presence in new areas, be it cyber protection, AI-based identification processes, or even innovative commercial solutions. I consider myself lucky to have an active role in this in the coming years”
said the manager in connection with his appointment.
