The GKI sentiment index continued to decline in March
The seasonally adjusted value of the GKI sentiment index continued to decline in March, after the fall in February.
The business expectations have not changed, while the consumers’ expectations noticeably declined further, although they still reflect an optimistic mood overall – according to the survey of the GKI Economic Research Co. that was supported by the European Union.
The sentiment index worsened from the minus 1.8 points of February to minus 2.8 points, the business confidence index remained 4.6 points, but the consumer confidence index fell to minus 23.8 points in March from the minus 20.2 points of February. (MTI)
