Brazilian coffee exports fell 6 percent in March
Brazilian coffee exports fell 6 percent to 3.6 million bags (1 bag = 60 kilograms) in March from the same month last year.
According to data released by the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Association (Cecafé), 0.7 percent more bags of arabica coffee beans were exported in March, 3.1 million bags, and 65 percent less bags of robaba beans, or 123.4 thousand bags. Exports of ground, roasted and instant coffee fell 7.8 percent to 356,000 bags. (MTI)
