Records broke in mineral water consumption
According to the survey of the Nielsen Market Research, the total Hungarian mineral water market grew by 5 percent in liters in the first four months of 2018 and by 6.6 percent in terms of bottles, compared to the same period of last year.
Until the end of April 2018, the total mineral water sold in Hungary was 332 million liters, representing 222 million bottles. According to the Nielsen market research, producers sold mineral water by the end of April in a value of 208.5 billion HUF – last year it was only 187.7 billion HUF in the first four months – and the value of growth was higher than in liters or in bottles.
