Yuan-based bank cards can be requested in Hungary
The Bank of China issued yuan-based debit cards. The cards will be issued within the cooperation of the Bank of China and UnionPay and this will be the first Chinese yuan card in Central and Eastern Europe – origo recalls Kuo Tien-li, president of the Bank of China.
Initially the chip card will be sold only for private Individuals in the banks of the Bank of China (Hungária) Zrt. in Hungary. Then it will be available in the banks offices in Prague, Vienna and Belgrade as well. (origo)
