NAV can fine due to the failing of online billing
The National Tax and Customs Office (NAV) can sanction the failure to provide online account data, and the amount of fines can be 500,000 HUF per account – Sztankó Dániel, the leading tax expert of RSM Hungary told M1 news channel.
He recalled that the online billing regulation came into force on 1 July. NAV has granted a one-month grace period to the businesses, which expired at the end of July, so the tax authority can already penalize. At the same time, the expert pointed out that the NAV is considering what the company did in order to comply with the regulations. (MTI)
