Tesco’s Food Saving Program is available in 100 stores already
From this year, the staff of the supermarket chain and the Hungarian Food Bank are saving the unnecessary food products in 100 Tesco stores.
Since the launch of the daily collection of the food surplus and its charitable utilization in 2014, the supermarket chain has delivered more than 2.4 billion forints worth of food to those in need, representing 5575 tons of donations. This amount corresponds to more than 13.9 million doses of food.
