HEINEKEN’s unique internship program is also starting in Hungary
HEINEKEN, known as one of the world’s leading beer producers, is relaunching its global program in a renewed form. The three-year Global Graduate Program – which focuses on commerce here at home – ensures knowledge development in the international arena as well. Its goal is to prepare future leaders for the challenges of the global business environment, while providing them with extensive professional and cultural knowledge.
Applications are open for the HEINEKEN Global Graduate program, which in several countries, including Hungary, offers young people starting their careers an exceptional opportunity to gain experience and develop leadership skills. In the case of the Hungarian subsidiary, the focus of the program is on sales and marketing, so the young graduate participating in the program will be able to work on leading brands such as Heineken, Soproni or Gösser. Compared to traditional internship programs, the intensive, three-year program offers considerably more scope and development potential for conscious and successful career building, especially considering that HEINEKEN’s undisclosed goal with the international program is to find and train the company’s future senior managers.
This aspiration is supported by the personal example of Katalin Perényi, marketing director of HEINEKEN Hungária Zrt., as she herself founded her international career in HEINEKEN’s talent development program.
“The HEINEKEN Global Graduate Program had a huge impact on my professional development. Thanks to this program, I was able to work in Africa and Austria, and it played a big role in the fact that I later contributed to the strengthening of the company’s market presence at the HEINEKEN subsidiary in England and then at its headquarters in Amsterdam. I think my career path is the best possible example of HEINEKEN’s long-term, strategic goal of training future senior managers, for which this program is an excellent foundation.”
Katalin Perényi said.
