The pensioner from Szeged bought a Hungarian product and received a grand prize of one million
87 trademarked products of five manufacturers participated in Magyar Termék Nonprofit Kft. “Buy Hungarian products, spin and win!” in a spring community raffle. The promotion broke all records so far: the total number of purchased products was almost 60,000, and the total number of uploaded AP codes was almost 30,000. Most people chose a product from the Abonett range. The grand prize of HUF 1 million was won by a retired chemist from Szeged with Koch’s horseradish cream bought at the local ALDI.
“The promotion from the beginning of April to June 23, in which 87 branded products of Abonett, Bábolna Bio, Koch’s Torma, Kunsági Éden and Naszálytej took part, set records in several aspects”
– said Anita Kádár, the key customer representative of Magyar Termék Nonprofit Kft.
“With the introduction of our loyalty site, magyaranyero.hu, the campaign also attracted new players, we achieved an increase of nearly 30% compared to last year.”
he added.
“Overall, it can be said that the spring promotion performed excellently, as the number of purchased products, registrants, and uploaded AP codes increased. Despite inflation, consumers put promotional products in their shopping carts in larger quantities on average than last year”
Anita Kádár evaluated the campaign.
He also said that, based on promotional statistics, most people played in SPAR/INTERSPAR stores, but the sales of the others also showed a more than two-fold increase.
The grand prize of HUF 1 million was won by Ernő Molnár, a retired chemist from Szeged, with Koch’s horseradish cream bought at the local ALDI.
