The message of the Hungarian Spirit Industry Association and Product Council this summer: Fair play, responsible drinking
This summer holds a lot of excitement for sports fans and supporters. The events of both the 2024 European Football Championship and the 2024 Olympic Games create many opportunities for spectators to gather together, support their favorite athletes and teams and toast the results together.
The new campaign of the Hungarian Liquor Industry Association and Product Council (MSZSZT), “Fair play, responsible drinking” encourages people to pay attention to the conscious consumption of alcohol while enjoying the experience of being a fan. MSZSZT implements its educational campaign with the support of spiritsEUROPE, which this summer will be joined by content producers Marci Miskovits, Viktória Viczián and Balázs Horváth to draw the attention of their followers to the importance of responsible drinking.
“Our goal remains unchanged from year to year. We want to spread the message as widely as possible that moderate alcohol consumption can be a natural part of summer. With these two large-scale sports events approaching, we consider it particularly important to further expand the knowledge of young adults about responsible drinking, since often an important element of sports broadcasts is alcohol, toasting, and drinking in joy, or in sadness at the defeat of our favorite team. Marci Miskovits, Viktória Viczián and Balázs Horváth also support us in this: they also show that summer, watching matches and cheering can be complete with fair play and responsible drinking.
– said András Nagy, director of the Hungarian Spirits Association and Product Council, at the start of the campaign.
