Hungarian Marketing Association: lifetime achievement award to Dr. Örs Megyer

In 2024, Dr. Megyer Örs, winner of the Tonk Emil Lifetime Achievement Award of the Hungarian Marketing Association, became the honorary chairman of the Self-Regulating Advertising Board (ÖRT) and chairman of our complaints committee.

Örs is a permanent member of the Hungarian Advertising Association (MRSZ), a member of the supervisory board of Effie Hungary and the MRSZ, as well as the co-jury chairman of the Green Pledge initiative launched by the leading industry associations.

The Emil Tonk Lifetime Achievement Award of the Hungarian Marketing Association is one of the association’s, if not the most important, awards.The award recognizes a completed and successful professional career for the benefit of the marketing profession as a whole.

In addition to his height, Dr. Örsöt Megyer is also distinguished by his athleticism: he was a member of the youth kayak-canoe team, a regular participant in triathlon competitions, and there was a time when he ran 6 half-marathons
