Agriculture and food industry are the main area of the Hungarian-Laos expansion of trade

The most important areas of the Hungarian-Laos bilateral trade expansion are agriculture and the food industry – said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade (KKM) after Szabó László Foreign Economic Relations and Deputy Foreign Minister welcomed the delegation from Laos.

In its communication, the ministry recalled that Hungary supported Laos in building of the country’s comprehensive food chain safety system in 2009 with 8.6 million USD, while in 2016 with 30 million USD. (MTI)
