Hungarian proposals should also be included in the EP report on sheep and goat farming
The proposals of the Hungarian sheep and goat farmers, including the lump sum support of small pet keepers, the extension of national animal welfare support and the enlargement of pasture areas should be included into the report of the European Parliament’s Agriculture Committee on the sector, according to Erdős Norbert, Fidesz MEP.
In his statement Erdős Norbert, drew attention to the important role played by the sector in rural employment, particularly in the regions lagging behind, and the significant added value of preserving the environment and landscape. (MTI)
