Hungarian export opportunities from Bangkok to Sao Paolo
Hungarian food exporting companies should pay attention to the fact that exports to distant, large markets are dynamically increasing. For example, value-added sales to India rose 28 percent year-on-year, to Brazil by 25 percent, to Thailand by 13 percent, to Japan by 11 percent, and to China by 5 percent, from 2016 to 2017.
Nils-Holger Glomme, the trend manager of the Cologne trade fair informed the representatives of the Hungarian companies at a conference organized by OMÉK on the possibilities of increasing awareness of the Hungarian food supply in emerging markets. Koelnmesse GmbH, on the one hand, organizes Anuga, the world’s largest food fair, every two years on its domestic track. (Bajai Ernő)
