Hungarian Confectionery Industry Association: the price of a begli will be around 5,000 HUF this Christmas
The president of the Hungarian Confectionery Industry Association, Balázs Erdélyi, believes that although the “industrial” products have become cheaper than the products available in pastry shops, their quality is much lower than that of delicacies made with the artisanal process. The price of bulk products may be around HUF 3,000 this year, but the price of a quality bagel can reach HUF 5,000.

Craft products will cost the most
“This band may seem like a bit of a big deviation, but unfortunately the factor of who gets the energy from their service provider for how much appears even in the price of bagels. In addition, the prices of raw materials have also doubled, but this applies to pretty much everyone uniformly, with the exception of those , who can order larger quantities at the same time, since they can usually get raw materials at a better price.”
– the professional president told VG.
